RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPOT FOUNDATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $220,000.

CITY PROPOSAL:
WHEREAS, the city council approved $220,000 as an operating subsidy to the Depot Foundation in resolution 19-0743R passed on November 12, 2019 that appropriated the estimated 2020 hotel-motel and food and beverage tourism taxes.
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement, substantially in the form of that attached as Exhibit A, with the Depot Foundation in an amount not to exceed $220,000, payable from 258-030-5436-03; (Tourism Taxes, Finance, Tourism Tax Allocations, Historic Union Depot).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an agreement with the Depot Foundation for 2020 in order to support the historic, artistic, and promotional activities of the Depot. This agreement is funded by tourism tax collections.
