CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a master services agreement, substantially in the form attached as Exhibit A, with Lake Superior Consulting LLC, for professional consulting services needed to support the operation and maintenance of the city’s natural gas utility for an amount not to exceed $50,000, payable from 520 (Gas Fund), Department 500 (Public Works & Utilities), various agencies and objects, Project 1904.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a master services agreement with Lake Superior Consulting, LLC, for professional consulting services needed to support the operation and maintenance of the city’s natural gas utility on a non-exclusive, as-needed basis. This is a one (1) year agreement with two optional one-year renewals.
Under this agreement, projects will be ordered and billed on an hourly basis pursuant to a city-issued, written statement of work or similar document. Services may include feasibility studies, cost estimating, risk assessments, welding inspections, assistance in addressing compliance issue and other services related to operation of the utility. This agreement does not guarantee that a minimum amount of services will be requested, and the agreement may be terminated at any time.
