CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute an agreement in the form substantially attached as Exhibit A with TKDA, for DPD impound lot engineering services for an amount not to exceed $53,500.00, payable from fund 450-030-5520-CP2020-2005B (Capital Improvements; Finance; Buildings and Structures; 2020 Capital Improvement Projects; Public Safety Building).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an agreement, substantially in the format attached as Exhibit A, for DPD impound lot engineering services.
The Duluth Police Department is in need of a 50-vehicle impound lot by the end of 2020. Facilities has identified a potential site on Rice Lake Road, and TKDA will further assess site suitability by conducting a site survey and wetland delineation to identify area available for cost effective development. TKDA will prepare design and construction documents, assist in reviewing bids, and provide construction administration through completion of the project.
