Statement of purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the city of Duluth to enter into an agreement with SRF Consulting Group, Inc. for professional engineering design and construction administration services for the replacement of the traffic signal at the intersection of Woodland Avenue, Kent Road, and East 8th Street.

SRF completed a structural review of the traffic signal in 2018 under Master Service Agreement L30086.  The results indicated the traffic signal needs to be replaced because it has reached the end of its useful life. This agreement extends their services to include design plans for the new traffic signal and provide construction administration services during construction of the new signal.
