ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE 10662 TO CHANGE THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THE ORDINANCE TO JULY 1, 2020.

The city of Duluth does ordain:
Section 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance 10662 be amended as follows.
That this ordinance shall take effect on January 1, 2021.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect 30 days after its passage and publication.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this ordinance is to delay implementation of the ordinance requiring a five cent charge for plastic carryout bags in the city of Duluth.
