RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEDICATION FOR PUBLIC STREET AND HIGHWAY PURPOSES AND DRAINAGE AND UTILITY PURPOSES WEST OF DECKER ROAD.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the city of Duluth does hereby accept on behalf of the general public the dedication of those easements for street and highway purposes and drainage and utility purposes as described and recorded with the office of the St. Louis County Recorder on September 7, 2004 as Document No. 956355.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this resolution is to accept the dedication of road and utility easements adjacent to the Schneiderman’s Furniture building. This resolution is a companion to the resolution renaming the road. See attached Exhibit A for the easement location. Although the city is accepting the easements, the acceptance of the street, utility and drainage improvements as referenced in the Report of the City Engineer under Communications is limited to those currently in place. For the road it currently exists from Decker Road to a point 688 feet to the west; see the attached Exhibit B for the road location.
