CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute an amendment, substantially in the form attached as Exhibit A, with LHB, Inc. for additional engineering services for the East Superior Street reconditioning project, for an increase of $115,392, and a new total not to exceed $184,854, payable from 411-035-5530, PI2019-1820 (permanent improvement, capital projects accounts, improvements other than buildings; 2019 permanent improvements projects, E Superior Street Lester River Road to expressway).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an amendment to the agreement with LHB, Inc. for additional engineering services including design and construction administration as needed for the East Superior Street reconditioning project.
The additional services will include full construction administration services for this federal aid project, and design services for stormwater, traffic control and temporary traffic signal plans as the specific scope of these work items was unknown at the time proposals were submitted.
LHB’s full proposal is attached as part of Exhibit A.
