CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to accept a reimbursement safety grant from the state of Minnesota department of labor and industry, occupational safety and health consultation unit in the amount of $3,065.45. $3,065.45 of funds to be deposited in Fund No. 290-500-4654 (other reimbursements).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the proper city officials to accept a reimbursement grant (contract attached as Exhibit A) from the Minnesota department of labor and industry, occupational safety and health consultation unit for the city of Duluth street maintenance division's east tool house. The city will spend approximately $8,788 on two truck-mounted illuminating message boards for mobile street maintenance operations, and MNOSHA will reimburse the city for $3,065.45.
