CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute an amendment, substantially in the form attached as Exhibit A, with LHB, Inc. for additional engineering services for Rehabilitation of Waseca Boulevard Bridges, for an increase of $25,691, and a new total not to exceed $46,731, payable from 411-035-5530, PI2019-1870 (permanent improvement, capital projects accounts, improvements other than buildings; 2019 permanent improvement projects, Waseca Blvd Bridge Rehabilitation).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an amendment to the agreement with LHB, Inc. to include construction administration and inspection services for the rehabilitative repairs to Bridges 69607 and 9255 on Waseca Industrial Boulevard.
The city identified several areas for repair on Bridges 69607 and 9255 during annual bridge inspections. LHB Inc. completed an additional review of these bridges to identify the extent of repairs needed and prepared design plans for the repairs. This agreement extends their services to include construction administration and inspection services during construction of the repairs
