CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that agreement no. 1036438 (city agreement no. 23884) with the Minnesota Department of Transportation for sanitary sewer lift station 15 relocation be amended in the amount of $460,226 for a new total of $5,545,317, payable from Sanitary Sewer Fund 530, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital), Object 5533 (Capital Improvements - Revenue), city project no. 1803. Reimbursement from MnDOT will be receipted to Sanitary Sewer Fund 530, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1900 (Public Works Director’s Office), Object 4700 (Other Sources). This work is being done as part of MnDOT’s Twin Ports Interchange project, and MnDOT will fully reimburse the city for all costs associated with the lift station relocation.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution amends agreement no. 1036438 with MnDOT by $460,226. The state and the city of Duluth entered into this agreement for relocation of sanitary sewer lift station 15 along Michigan Street as part of MnDOT’s Twin Ports Interchange project, with MnDOT to fully reimburse the city for all costs associated with the sanitary sewer lift station relocation. The city has let a contract for the work. The contract amount exceeds the amount in the original agreement. Both parties are willing to amend the original agreement.
