CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute an amendment, substantially in the form attached as Exhibit A, to Master Services Agreement L30037 with EPC Engineering & Testing for professional geotechnical and material testing services. This amendment will increase the annual estimated amount for 2020 to $175,000 and the annual estimated amount for 2021 to $100,000; increasing the total contract to an amount not to exceed to $425,000, payable from various appropriate funds, departments, agencies and objects, Project 1722.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution increases the five-year master services agreement with EPC Engineering & Testing (EPC). The annual estimated amount for 2020 will increase from $75,000 to $125,000, and the annual estimated amount for 2021 will increase from $50,000 to $100,000. thereby increasing the total five-year contract to an amount not to exceed to $425,000.
The Superior Street Reconstruction project has resulted in an increased demand for geotechnical and materials testing services. EPC has been the lead firm providing these services for the Superior Street project, which is now scheduled for final completion in 2021.
This is a blanket purchase agreement, which does not guarantee that a minimum amount of services will be ordered.
