RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING COSTCO DRIVE AS THE NAME FOR THE PRIVATE DRIVEWAY LOCATED EAST OF HAINES ROAD.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that in accordance with the provisions of Section 50-33.6 of the Duluth City Code, 1959, as amended, that the private driveway to serve the Kirkland Addition located approximately 950 feet east of Haines Road on Arrowhead Road is hereby named and designated as “Costco Drive.”
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution provides a name to the private driveway off of Arrowhead Road that will serve the Costco property. The naming of a private leg of an intersection is unusual, but important for 911 dispatching. In addition, a name will aid drivers in navigating the upcoming signalized intersection. A location map is attached.
