CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to amend agreement L30325 with Lake Superior Consulting LLC for professional consulting services needed to support the operation and maintenance of the city’s natural gas utility; to exercise the first of two one-year renewal options and increase the agreement by $50,000 for a new total not to exceed $100,000, payable from various appropriate funds, departments, agencies and objects.

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  This resolution authorizes the renewal of a master services agreement with Lake Superior Consulting, LLC, for professional consulting services needed to support the operation and maintenance of the city’s natural gas utility on a non-exclusive, as-needed basis. It will also increase the total contract amount by $50,000 for a new contract total of $100,000.  There is one optional one-year renewal remaining.

 

Under this agreement, projects will be ordered and billed on an hourly basis pursuant to a city-issued, written statement of work or similar document. Services may include feasibility studies, cost estimating, risk assessments, welding inspections, assistance in addressing compliance issue and other services related to operation of the utility.  This agreement does not guarantee that a minimum amount of services will be requested, and the agreement may be terminated at any time.
