RESOLUTION CONCURRING WITH COUNTY AWARD OF THE SWAN LAKE ROAD RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that pursuant to the requirements of Paragraph 4 of the Swan Lake Road Reconstruction cooperative agreement (city contract no. 24035), the city hereby concurs with the award of the Swan Lake Road reconstruction contract to Northland Constructors of Duluth, Inc., whereas the city’s share of the contract is $181,198.00.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this resolution is to formally concur with the award of the construction contract for the Swan Lake Road reconstruction project to Northland Constructors of Duluth, Inc., for utility improvements in the amount of $181,198.00.
The Swan Lake Road reconstruction project is a combined project of the city and St. Louis County, pursuant to which the city will repair or replace utilities in the Swan Lake Road right of way (city project no. 1950, requisition no. 21-99000262), and the county will demolish the streets themselves, and, when the utility work is completed, will construct a new driving surface for the streets. By these joint efforts, the city and the county will have completely reconstructed the streets and utilities. The city’s share is payable out of the associated utility funds in the following amounts:
