CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute an amendment, substantially in the form attached as Exhibit A, with TKDA for additional engineering services for the Fairmount snowmobile trail project, for an increase of $45,800, and a new total not to exceed $129,990, payable from fund 452-030-5530-HANDHTAX-1519 (tourism & recreational projects; finance; improvements other than buildings; half & half tax projects; snowmobile trails).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an amendment to the agreement with TKDA for additional engineering services for the Fairmount snowmobile trail project.
The additional services include:
1) Added time spent on preliminary design evaluating additional bridge structures and reviewing design alternatives
2) Added scope to construction and layout phase
3) Increased construction administration due to change in abutment design
4) Preparation of record drawings of the completed work
