CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to amend agreement L30203 with Toole Design Group, LLC, substantially in the form attached as Exhibit A, to include additional final design services for the temporary relocation of the Cross City Trail for an increase in the amount of $1,692 and a new total amount not to exceed $96,449, payable from Fund 411-035-5531 Project PI2019-1596 (Permanent Improvement; Capital Project Accounts; Improvements Other than Buildings), Cross City Temporary Bike Trail, city project no. 1596.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a fourth amendment to agreement L30203 with Toole Design Group, LLC to include additional final design services for the temporary relocation of the Cross City Trail for an increase in the amount of $1,692 and a new total amount not to exceed $96,449.
This amendment covers additional design engineering work required to temporarily relocate the Cross City Trail from the lower side of W. Superior Street to the upper side of W. Superior Street on the 2100 block, when excavation and major portions of the new building construction for Lincoln Park Flats housing project prohibits the safe passage of bicycles adjacent to the construction work. The developer of the Lincoln Park Flats development has agreed to reimburse the city for half the cost of the additional design work.
