CITY PROPOSAL:

                     RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to execute an amendment to a sub-recipient grant agreement, city contract no. 23901, substantially in the form of  Exhibit A, with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) to increase the grant amount by $13,043.90, for a total grant amount of $32,316.90, and to extend the grant period to June 30, 2022; the funds will be used by the city to provide CDL training for women, minorities and disadvantaged individuals to increase participation on MnDOT highway heavy projects.

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  The purpose of this resolution is to amend a sub-recipient grant agreement between MnDOT and the city pursuant to which the city provides CDL training to women, minorities and disadvantaged individuals to increase participation on MnDOT highway heavy projects.  The grant amount will be increased by $13,043.90 and the time of performance will be extended by one year.
