CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Ulland Brothers, Inc. for the 2021 Street Preservation Project in the amount of $2,694,874. The working fund for this project is Street Improvement Fund 440, Department/Agency 038 (Special Assessment Contracts), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 1693. The funding sources for this project will be:
Street Improvement Sales Tax Fund 291 $2,022,076.76
Street Maintenance Utility Fund 290 $ 765,500.00
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize the 2021 Street Preservation project by Ulland Brothers, Inc. in the amount of $2,694,874. Ulland Brothers, Inc. was the lowest responsible bidder of the two companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $3,674,720.25. Payable from Street Improvement Fund 440, Department 038 (Special Assessment Contracts), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 1693, requisition no. 21-99400.
