RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Ellingson Trenchless, LLC for the Woodland Avenue Gas Main Replacement Phase 3 project in the amount of $585,809.70, payable from Gas Utility Fund 520, Department 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital Improvements), Object 5533 (Revenue), city project no. 1894.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize award of a contract to Ellingson Trenchless, LLC in the amount of $585,809.70 for the installation of approximately 2,700 linear feet of 6” PE gas main in Woodland Avenue from Oxford Street to Arrowhead Road and in Vermilion Road, plus additional gas main extensions and gas services, and the abandonment or removal of the old 6” steel gas main. Ellingson Trenchless, LLC was the lowest responsible bidder of the two companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $557,299.50. Payable from Gas Utility Fund 520, Department 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital Improvements), Object 5533 (Revenue), city project no. 1894, requisition no. 20-99287.
