CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute an amendment to agreement L30482 with MSA Professional Services (MSA) for permitting services for Brighton Beach trail realignment, for an increase of $1,490, and a new total not to exceed $41,490, payable from fund 225-125-1815-5310-STRM1018 (Disaster Recovery Fund; Finance; Contract Services; Storm Surge October 10, 2018)
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an amendment to the agreement with MSA for permitting services for Brighton Beach trail realignment.
The additional services will include wetland delineation and permitting services associated with the Brighton Beach trail realignment project. The October 2018 storm severely damaged a segment of shoreline at the north end of Brighton beach; this design will reroute the trail further away from the shore to prevent future damage.
MSA’s proposal and project estimation sheet for this amendment are attached to Exhibit A.
