RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE PAY RANGE FOR THE EXISTING CIVIL SERVICE CLASSIFICATION OF PARKS PERMIT COORDINATOR.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proposed amendments to the pay range for the existing civil service classification of parks permit coordinator, the specifications for which were approved by the civil service board on April 5, 2016, and by the city council on April 11, 2016, as resolution no. 16-0257R (attached as Exhibit A), are approved. This classification shall remain subject to the city's collective bargaining agreement with its basic unit employees; and that pay range for said classification shall change to Range 29, pay rate of $4,413 to $5,184 per month, from Range 129, pay rate of $4,072 to $4,779 per month.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The pay rate for the existing classification of parks permit coordinator was revised to change the weekly hours from 37.5 to 40. The pay range negotiated for this classification is Range 29, pay rate of $4,413 to $5,184 per month. This is a change from Range 129, pay rate of $4,072 to $4,779 per month.
