Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution is a revision of the Fiscal Year 2021 due to an allocation error by the federal Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) for the program year that runs from April 1, 2021 through March 31, 2022. This finalizes the 2021 CDBG Program portion of the Community Development program. The city budgeted $2,426,735 for the FY 2021 HUD award to the CDBG program in Resolution 21-0078R. The final revised award $2,462,495 to the CDBG program, which is an increase of $35,760. A public hearing was held on June 22, 2021. The Community Development Committee’s recommendation reflect the proposed amounts.
