CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to contract with Veit & Company, Inc. for Wheeler Sports Complex Phase II improvements for a total amount not to exceed $371,660, payable from fund 452-030-5530-HANDHTAX-1505 (Tourism & Recreation Projects, Finance, Improvements Other Than Buildings, Wheeler Athletic Complex).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a contract with Veit & Company, Inc. for Wheeler Sports Complex Phase II improvements for an amount not to exceed $371,660. Veit will construct miscellaneous park improvements within the Wheeler Sports Complex, including excavation, fencing, ADA portable restroom slab and enclosure, erosion control and new sport court.
Purchasing issued an Invitation to Bid on July 16, 2021, and received four bids as listed below. Veit & Company, Inc. submitted the lowest responsive bid.
