CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement, substantially in the form of the attached Exhibit A, with St. Louis County to construct a roundabout at the intersection of CSAH 37 (Snively Road) and Glenwood Street, and mill and overlay of CSAH 9 (Woodland Avenue), Arrowhead Road and Snively Road, as specifically described as city project no. 1712, on file in the office of the city engineer, to be paid from municipal state aid, federal funds and signal funds in an amount not to exceed $2,373,806.

Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize an agreement with St. Louis County for construction of a roundabout at the intersection of CSAH 37 (Snively Road and Glenwood Street), mill and overlay of CSAH 9 (Woodland Avenue) including traffic signal system replacement at the intersections of CSAH 9 (Woodland Avenue)/Snively Road/Hardy Street, mill and overlay of CSAH 37 (Snively Road) between CSAH 9 (Woodland Avenue) and Glenwood Street, and mill and overlay of Arrowhead Road between Dodge Avenue and CSAH 9 (Woodland Avenue), city project no. 1712. This agreement also authorizes the county to be reimbursed for materials, testing and easement acquisition and utility relocation associated with the project. The city will pay St. Louis County for actual costs, up to $2,373,806, for Duluth's segments and share of the project, from municipal state aid, federal and signal funds.
