RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT L30540 WITH JAMAR COMPANY FOR ADDED SCOPE TO THE CITY CENTER WEST EMERGENCY OPERATIONS CENTER RADIANT HEAT INSTALLATION PROJECT FOR AN INCREASE OF $79,035 AND A NEW TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $198,904.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute an amendment to the agreement with Jamar Company for added scope to the City Center West Emergency Operations Center radiant heat installation project, for an increase of $79,035, and a new total not to exceed $198,904, payable from funds as follow:
$29,035 450-030-5520-CP2020-2001B (capital improvements; finance; buildings & structures; 2020 capital improvement projects; VFA - asset mgmt system)
$50,000 450-030-5520-CP2021-2101B (capital improvements; finance; buildings & structures; 2021 capital improvement projects; CIP eligible improvements; VFA-asset mgmt.)
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an amendment to the agreement with Jamar Company for added scope to the City Center West Emergency Operations Center radiant heat installation project
The additional services will include installation of Variable Air Volume boxes and associated ductwork, fans, and sensors which will improve energy efficiency and tie into the building control system. Jamar Company’s proposal and project estimation sheet for this amendment are attached to Exhibit A.
