RESOLUTION APPROVING A THREE-YEAR (2022- 2024) PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH BELLMONT PARTNERS TO ADVERTISE AND PROMOTE THE CITY AS A VISITOR, TOURIST, AND CONVENTION DESTINATION.

CITY PROPOSAL:
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized city officials to negotiate a contract for tourism and promotion with Television Generation, Inc. d/b/a Bellmont Partners for the years 2022, 2023, and 2024 pursuant to City Council Resolution No. 21-0616R;
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute a professional services agreement with Television Generation, Inc. d/b/a Bellmont Partners, substantially in the form of attached Exhibit 1;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to compensate Television Generation, Inc. d/b/a Bellmont Partners, in accordance with the professional services agreement, up to one million eight hundred thousand ($1,800,000) per year in 2022, 2023, and 2024, said funds payable from City Fund 0258, Agency 030, Object 5436-02.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution approves a professional services agreement with Bellmont Partners to promote the City as a visitor, tourist, and convention destination and authorizes payment from City tourism tax revenue of up to $1.8M per year for 2022, 2023, and 2024.
