CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to accept and execute the Cross-Country Ski Grant-in-Aid Program grant contract agreement, substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for the maintenance of cross-country ski trails in Duluth for the 2021-2022 season in the amount not to exceed $11,000; said funds to be deposited into 110-121-1217-2145-4225 (General Fund; Property, Parks & Libraries; Maintenance Operations; Park Maintenance, Ski Trail Reimbursement).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes acceptance of a Minnesota DNR grant for maintenance of the city’s cross country ski trails for $11,000. The city annually applies for, receives, and uses these program funds to cover a portion of the City’s cost for cross country ski trail maintenance and grooming.
