RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PROPER CITY OFFICIALS TO ACCEPT A GRANT FROM THE STATE OF MINNESOTA IN THE AMOUNT OF $200,984 FOR HAZMAT EQUIPMENT AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF MINNESOTA.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to accept a grant, substantially in the form of the attached Exhibit A from the State of Minnesota, Department of Public Safety, through the State Fire Marshal Division in the amount of $200,984, said funds to be deposited in Fund No. 210-030-3191-4220-20 (Special Projects, Finance, Emergency Response Teams, State of Minnesota) for the purpose of reimbursing the City for the cost to purchase of a SEEKERe, Decon tents, and Decon equipment, further described in the attached Exhibit B.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The purpose of this resolution is to authorize accepting a grant in an amount of $200,984 from the State of Minnesota, Department of Public Safety, through the State Fire Marshal Division in the amount of $200,984 for the purpose of reimbursing the City for the cost to purchase of a SEEKERe, Decon tents, and Decon equipment, further described in the attached Exhibit B.
