CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with LHB, Inc., for services identified in the attached Exhibit A, to provide professional engineering design services for the TH 53 and TH 535 Utility Relocations project in the amount of $73,532, payable out of 510-500-1905-5533, util 2038 (Water fund, Public Works & Utilities, Capital, Capital Improvements, city project no. 2038, S.P. 6915-138 and S.P. 6980-62). City funds will be fully reimbursed by MnDOT as part of its Twin Ports Interchange Project per agreements no. 1049143 and 1049145.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an agreement with LHB, Inc. for professional engineering design services for the TH 53 and TH 535 Utility Relocations project. This relocation is necessary as part of MnDOT’s Twin Ports Interchange Project, and will involve construction of water main and sanitary sewer. Federal funds will be used for construction. Due to the complexity of bidding a federally funded project, the city requested the services of a consultant engineer.
