CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to enter into an agreement with Irrigation Consulting, Inc. for Phases 1 and 2 preliminary design, cost estimating, final design, construction documents, and bidding for a total amount not to exceed $57,365.00, payable from fund 205-130-1220-5319-CM205-GOLF (Parks Fund; Community Resources; Parks Capital; Other Professional Services; Enger Golf Improvements). Full proposal attached as Exhibit A.

FURTHER RESOLVED, Council approved the Enger Park Golf Course Renovation Plan and implementation thereof which included a new 27-hole irrigation system, new pump station infrastructure, irrigation pond expansion, extension of city water supply and extension of well water supply at the September 27, 2021 meeting.

Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an agreement with Irrigation Consulting, Inc. for preliminary design, cost estimating, final design, construction documents, and bidding services for a new 27-hole irrigation system, new pump station infrastructure, irrigation pond expansion, City water supply extension, and well piping extension to provide recommendations and design documents for the proposed Enger Golf Course renovation in an amount not to exceed $57,365.00. This amount includes phase 1 ($15,440), phase 2 ($36,060), and 30% of the travel costs ($5,865) from the attached proposal.

The resolution authorizes payment of the contract from the Park Fund; however, the intent is that the Golf Fund will ultimately reimburse the Park Fund for these costs. Golf Fund profits will be sufficient to cover the full cost of the con...
