CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to reinstate, extend and amend agreement L 30542 with Petersen Group LLC/Canary Consulting for professional services related to the City’s Federal legislative program, for an additional amount of $78,000, for a total amount not to exceed $117,000, payable from 110-700-1401-5312 (general fund, transfers and other functions, city wide dues & lobbying, lobbyist fees).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the reinstatement, extension, and amendment to execute the renewal of agreement L 30542 with Petersen Group LLC/Canary Consulting for professional services related to the City’s federal legislative program for an additional year of service.
The services include research and analysis of legal, financial, and general government issues, drafting legislation, legal service, and technical assistance on related public policy issues, monitoring legislation of importance to the City, and direct legislative representation.
