CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to reinstate, extend and amend agreement L 30198 with Short Elliott Hendrickson, Inc. for professional services related to phase 2 of the Cross City Trail, for an additional amount of $11,800 and a new total amount not to exceed $155,900, payable from 450-030-5319, cp450-ccity-0595tr (capital improvement fund, finance, other professional services, Cross City Trail - Phase II (2019) Carlton St to Irving Park.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the reinstatement, extension, and amendment of agreement L 30198 with Short Elliott Hendrickson, Inc. for professional services related to phase 2 of the Cross City Trail.
During the construction phase of the project, additional services were required that were unforeseen and outside of the original contract scope. These additional services included overhead canopy modifications, Federal Aid project closeout services, and trail alignment modifications due to a required CN Railroad easement and WLSSD’s remote sensor box.
