RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF DULUTH, CENTER FOR ALCOHOL AND DRUG TREATMENT (CADT), AND JEFFREY R. MAAHS, PHD., FOR THE FY 2020 COMPREHENSIVE OPIOID STIMULANT AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROGRAM (COSSAP) AWARD PROVIDING FOR THE REIMBURSEMENT OF CERTAIN COSTS OF CADT SUBJECT TO THE TOTAL ANNUAL CAP ON FEES AND COSTS.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute a first amendment to the agreement between the City of Duluth, Center for Alcohol and Drug Treatment (CADT), and Jeffrey R. Maahs, PHD., for the FY 2020 Comprehensive Opioid Stimulant and Substance Abuse Program (COSSAP) award providing for the reimbursement of certain costs of CADT; said first amendment to be substantially the same as the attached Document A.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the proper city officials to execute a first amendment to the agreement between the City of Duluth, the Center for Alcohol and Drug Treatment (CADT), and Jeffrey R. Maahs, PHD., for the FY 2020 Comprehensive Opioid Stimulant and Substance Abuse Program (COSSAP) award. This amendment allows CADT to get reimbursed for certain costs in addition to the stated fees, provided that the total annual reimbursement for fees and costs does not exceed the total annual cap under the award.
