RESOLUTION REVOKING AND ESTABLISHING VARIOUS ROAD SEGMENTS AS MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREETS.

CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the city of Duluth established the initial Municipal State Aid System of streets by resolution approved on October 28, 1957, under provisions of Minnesota Laws 1957, Chapter 943.

FURTHER RESOLVED, that is now appears that revisions to the Municipal State Aid system are necessary.

FURTHER RESOLVED, that portions of the streets described as follows be, and hereby are, revoked as Municipal State Aid Streets of the city of Duluth, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of Minnesota.

Harbor Drive from Railroad Street to 5th Ave West (MSAS 183)
5th Ave West from Harbor Drive to Lower 5th Ave West (part of MSAS 135)

FURTHER RESOLVED, that Port Terminal Drive described as follows, is hereby established as a Municipal State Aid Street of the city of Duluth, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Transportation of the State of Minnesota.

Garfield Avenue/Port Terminal Drive - from Garfield Avenue at I-535 (the current south termini for MSAS 149) continuing south easterly and then back north to the junction of Helberg Drive & Port Terminal Drive and there terminating

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Transportation for consideration, and that upon his or her approval of the designation of said roads, that same be constructed, improved and maintained as Municipal State Aid Streets of the city of Duluth, to be numbered and known as Municipal State Aid Streets.
