RESOLVED, that contract 30553 with LHB, Inc. for professional engineering services

for the 21^st Ave East Reconditioning Project from London Road to Woodland Avenue, be amended to include the design for scope beyond the original contract as detailed in the attached proposal and for professional construction administration services, and to increase the amount by $277,821 for a new total of $426,041, payable from Permanent Improvement Fund 411, Department 035 (Capital Projects Accounts), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no.1993, S.A.P. 118-152-016.

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution amends contract 30553 with LHB, Inc. by

$277,821. This amendment is necessary due to the change in scope from the original contract as detailed in the attached Exhibit A (scope of services) as well as adding professional construction administration services. City staff requires assistance from LHB to perform design and construction administration services for the 21^st Ave East Reconditioning Project. Payable out of Permanent Improvement Fund 411, Department 035 (Capital Projects Accounts), Object 5530 (Improvements Other than Buildings), city project no. 1993.
