CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with J & M Displays Inc., substantially in the form as that attached as Exhibit A, for the materials and services necessary to plan and execute a fireworks display for the public on July 4, 2022 in the amount of $60,000.00 payable as follows:
$50,000 258-030-5436-12 (tourism tax allocation miscellaneous)
$10,000 110-132-1301-5310 (general, planning & construction services, planning and development, contract services)
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a contract with J & M Displays, Inc. (“J & M”) for the materials and services necessary to plan and execute a fireworks display for the public on July 4, 2022.
J & M services will include creating a fireworks display fully choreographed to music, including high quality pyrotechnics, musical soundtrack, communications equipment, obtaining all necessary permits, and presenting the display utilizing state-certified fireworks personnel.
