RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE EXISTING CIVIL SERVICE CLASSIFICATION OF DATA RELEASE COORDINATOR.

CITY PROPOSAL:

RESOLVED, that the proposed amendments to the specifications for the existing civil service classification of data release coordinator (attached as Exhibit A), which were approved by the civil service board on April 5, 2022, are approved. This classification shall remain subject to the city's collective bargaining agreement with its basic unit employees; and that pay range for said classification shall change to Range 133, pay rate of $58,915 to $69,159 per year, from Range 130, pay rate of $52,422 to $61,268 per year.

 

Statement of Purpose

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:  The existing classification of data release coordinator has been revised due to the extensive knowledge of statures required for successful completion of tasks, the education and experience required was updated. The pay range negotiated for this classification is Range 133, pay rate of $58,915 to $69,159 per year. This is a change from Range 130, pay rate of $52,422 to $61,268 per year.
