CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that contract 30489 with SAS+Associates, Inc. for professional landscape architectural services and construction administration services for the City Hall grounds improvements be amended to include work scope extensions as detailed in the attached proposal, and to increase the amount by $6,000 for a new total of $41,920, payable from Capital Improvement Fund 450, Department 030 (Finance), Object 5535 (Non-Capital Improvements), city project no. 2203b.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution amends contract 30489 with SAS+Associates, Inc. by $6,000. This amendment is necessary to extend landscape architectural and construction administration services to the project due to increases in the scope of work. The original proposal included updates to the sidewalk perimeter, driving and parking surfaces, retaining walls and stairs, while this amendment provides services for adding electric car charging stations and repairs to a water line. Construction is expected to proceed from summer to fall of 2022.
