CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with JMF Construction, Inc. for the 2022 Citywide Lead Water Service project, Phase 2, in the amount of $1,269,814.72, payable from The American Recovery Plan, Water Utility Fund 510, Department 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital), Object 5533 (Capital Improvements - Revenue), UtilB-ARPWF3, city project no. 2064.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize the 2022 Citywide Lead Water Service Replacement project, Phase 2, by JMF Construction, Inc. in the amount of $1,269,814.72, payable from The American Recovery Plan, Water Utility Fund 510, Department 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital), Object 5533 (Capital Improvements - Revenue), UtilB-ARPWF3, city project no. 2064, requisition no. 22-99573. The project consists of replacement of public and private lead water services with HDPE services, followed by surface restoration. JMF Construction, Inc. was the lowest responsible bidder of the two companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $1,218,000.
