CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute a memorandum of understanding, substantially in the form of the attached Exhibit A, with the Northland Foundation.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to accept a grant from the Northland Foundation in the amount of $7,500 to provide outreach and play and learn sessions for family, friend, and neighbor caregivers and young children in their care in the community, deposited into fund no. 240-300-SG80-4660-ECRD.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the proper city officials to accept a grant award of $7,500 from the Northland Foundation and execute a memorandum of understanding. The library will utilize the grant funds as part of the Every Child Ready Duluth program to conduct outreach events for informal caregivers and the young children in their care to build early learning skills.
