CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Veit & Co., Inc. for the 2022 Citywide CIPP Sewer Lining project in the amount of $1,519,442.50, payable out of Sanitary Sewer Fund 530, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital), Object 5533 (Capital Improvements - Revenue).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the 2022 Citywide CIPP Sewer Lining project by Veit & Co., Inc. in the amount of $1,519,442.50. Veit & Co., Inc. was the lowest responsible bidder of the two companies that responded. The engineer’s estimate was $1,400,000. Award of the project is recommended, as it is not believed that re-bidding would result in a lower price. Payable out of Sanitary Sewer Fund 530, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital), Object 5533 (Capital Improvements - Revenue), city project no. 2037, requisition no. 22-99568.
