CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to execute an agreement with MSA Professional Services, Inc. for engineering services for the 2023 Lead Service Replacement Project for an amount not to exceed $138,508.00 payable from Water Fund 510, Department/Agency 500 (Public Works & Utilities), Division 1905 (Capital, Including Depreciation/Debt Service), Object 5533 (Capital Improvements - Revenue; UtilB-ARPWF4 Utility Projects Budgeted, ARP 2079-2023).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an agreement for initial site visits and inspections, and design and bidding services for a portion of the 2023 Lead Water Service Replacement Project in the area of the attached map to MSA Professional Services, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $138,508.00 payable from American Rescue Plan funds.
The City Purchasing Division issued a request for proposals for multiple project areas on July 14, 2022 and received eight proposals as listed below. After evaluation and scoring, four of the proposals have been selected to each be awarded a project area within the project. MSA Professional Services, Inc. is one of the awarded proposers.
