RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING LICENSING AGREEMENT WITH VISIT DULUTH FOR USE OF THE CITY TOURISM LOGO.

CITY PROPOSAL:
WHEREAS, the City of Duluth has had a new logo created and is the owner and controller of said logo; and
WHEREAS, Visit Duluth wishes to sell goods displaying the new logo; and
WHEREAS, Visit Duluth and the City of Duluth both agree that the City of Duluth will grant Visit Duluth non-exclusive rights to sell goods with the new logo affixed to them.
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute a licensing agreement, substantially in the form attached hereto as Attachment A, with Visit Duluth for use of the new city logo through December 31, 2022.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a licensing agreement between the City of Duluth and Visit Duluth for use of the new city logo.
