CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to enter into a professional services agreement, substantially in the form of the attached Exhibit A, with Petersen Group LLC/Canary Consulting for services related to the City’s Federal legislative program, for a total amount not to exceed $91,000, payable from 110-700-1401-5312 (general fund, transfers and other functions, city wide dues & lobbying, lobbyist fees).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes a professional services agreement with Petersen Group LLC/Canary Consulting for professional services related to the City’s federal legislative program for November and December of 2022 and the year 2023. The agreement may be extended by one year with the written agreement of both parties.
The services include research and analysis of legal, financial, and general government issues, drafting legislation, legal service, and technical assistance on related public policy issues, monitoring legislation of importance to the City, and direct legislative representation.
