RESOLUTION APPROVING A COUNTY PROJECT WITHIN MUNICIPAL CORPORATE LIMITS FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO COUNTY STATE AID HIGHWAY 10 (MARTIN ROAD).

CITY PROPOSAL:
WHEREAS, the city of Duluth has been presented with and has reviewed plans for S.A.P. 069-030-059 for chip sealing of County State Aid Highway 10 (Martin Road) within the limits of the city; and
WHEREAS, a resolution from the city for approval of the county's plans is required for state aid approval.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the city of Duluth approves county plans for S.A.P. 069-030-059 for chip sealing of County State Aid Highway 10 (Martin Road) within the limits of the city.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution will authorize a county project within the city limits to make road improvements on Martin Road from Arnold Road to Jean Duluth Road. The project involves application of a chip seal. Construction will take place in 2023. This resolution is a requirement for state aid approval of the county’s plans. City project no. 2125.
