CITY PROPOSAL:
BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby authorized to accept and execute the Snowmobile Grant-in-Aid Program grant contract agreement, substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit A, with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for the maintenance of Duluth snowmobile trails for the 2022- 2023 season in an amount not to exceed $18,711.40, with said funds to be deposited into fund 205-130-1220-4220-02-CM205-PKMTCE-SNWMBL (Parks Fund, Community Resources, Parks Maintenance, State of Minnesota Operating, Capital Maintenance Fund 205, Park Maintenance, Snowmobile Grant-in-Aid Program).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution accepts a snowmobile trail maintenance grant from the Minnesota DNR for $18,711.40, of which $10,567.56 will be used for the east Cross City Trail and $8,143.84 for the west Cross City Trail. Trail grooming and maintenance will be completed by local snowmobile clubs under subcontracts.
