CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the city council approves the offer of judgment in the matter of Donald Peterson vs. Officer Todd Shermer, venued in the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota as file no. 21-cv-02012 (WMW/LIB), pursuant to the terms and conditions of the offer attached hereto as Exhibit A, in the amount of $25,000 payable from Fund 610-036-1651-5841 (Self Insurance Liabilities, Insurance Accounts, General City, Liability Claims Expense).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes city officials to implement the offer of judgment in Donald Peterson vs. Officer Todd Shermer. City administration and the city attorney recommend approval of this offer of judgment.
