RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to execute a sole source purchase of door hardware and infrastructure cabling services for the Technology Village Ramp from Premier Electrical Corporation for a total amount not to exceed $88,750.00, payable from fund 505-015-1480-2510-5405 (parking, Public Administration, off street parking, Technology Village Ramp, parking lot maintenance).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes the sole source purchase of door hardware and infrastructure cabling services from Premier Electrical Corporation for a total amount not to exceed $88,750.
This purchase serves as part of a larger-scale project to secure the pedestrian access points at Technology Village Ramp in order to enhance facility public safety. The cabling and door hardware will be coupled with a proprietary access control system that will integrate with the facility’s vehicular access control system and be centrally controllable and programmable. This sole source purchase is due to the fact that Premier Electrical Corporation was the only vendor to provide a quote for this work from the multiple vendors contacted by the city.
