CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are authorized to execute an agreement with LHB Inc. for engineering services for the Hillside Tunnel Inspection Project, on creek tunnels located under the Duluth Central Hillside, for an amount not to exceed $304,159.38, payable from 535-500-1905-5535, UtilB-2124 (stormwater, Public Works and Utilities, capital (incl deprec/debt svc), non-capital improvements; utility projects budgeted, inspection of 5 different stream tunnels in Central Hillside).
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: This resolution authorizes an agreement for engineering and inspection services for the Hillside Creek Tunnel Inspection Project, which includes Coffee, Buckingham, Clarkhouse, Greys, and Oregon Creek Tunnels, for an amount not to exceed $304,159.38. City capital storm funds will be used for this Engineering Project Number 2124.
The City Purchasing Division issued a request for proposals for the project, and received five proposals as listed below. After evaluation and scoring, LHB Inc. has been recommended for award of this project.
