CITY PROPOSAL:
RESOLVED, that the proposed specifications for the new civil service classification of digital navigator (attached as Exhibit A), which were approved by the civil service board on December 6, 2022, are approved. This classification shall be subject to the city's collective bargaining agreement with its basic unit employees; and that pay range for said classification shall be Range 23, pay rate of $44,497 to $51,642 per year.
Statement of Purpose
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: The new classification of digital navigator has been created to assist job seekers at the CareerForce Center as they navigate to educational, employment, and community services, which are now primarily online. The pay range negotiated for the classification is Range 23, pay rate of $44,497 to $51,642 per year.
